Matters of Perspective

“Take a moment to look outside yourself. It’s all about perspective. And speaking of perspective, here’s something truly awe-inspiring.

The first image is one of the first full-color images from the James Webb Space Telescope. It’s a galaxy cluster as it appeared 4.6 billion years ago.

The second image is what we used to be able to see with the already-astounding Hubble Space Telescope.

According to NASA, “”this slice of the vast universe covers a patch of sky approximately the size of a grain of sand held at arm’s length by someone on the ground here on Earth.””

Distance, time, clarity, and scale—all matters of perspective.”
